Disclosures
How this site works, in plain terms.
A referral service, not a contractor
ChesterfieldWellPump.com passes requests from homeowners on private wells to independent local well and pump contractors. It does not repair, replace or install pumps, tanks or any other well equipment, and it does not employ the contractors it refers.
How the site is paid
Contractors pay to receive referrals or to advertise here. Homeowners never pay anything to use the site.
One contractor for each request
Each request is sent to a single contractor who serves the area, not to a list of companies.
The contractor is responsible for the work
The contractor you hire is responsible for their own licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, workmanship and warranties, and any agreement is between you and them. This site does not check licenses; you can look up any Virginia contractor on DPOR before hiring.
Calls may be recorded
Calls to the number on this site may be recorded for quality and to confirm referrals.
Sources and affiliations
This site is not affiliated with Chesterfield County, its Utilities Department, the Virginia Department of Health, any other government agency, or any pump or tank manufacturer. Rules described here are summarized from the Virginia Administrative Code, the Code of Virginia, VDH and Chesterfield County pages, which each page links. Prices come from the national cost guides and other sources each page names, as of the dates shown. All of it is general information, not legal advice; the health department, the county building office and your contractor's written quote are what count.
